Samsung DVD-V9800 DVD Player / VCR Combo

Pros: Quality, hdmi, etc.
Cons: Nothing

Have had this Samsung DVD-V9800 for a year and 3 months and has worked perfectly. HAve had no problems and nothing. Like the remote because I have a samsung TV also and remote works perfectly with the tv and the dvd/vcr so if I want to watch a movie I can just grab the V9800 remote control and turn the TV and DVD on and watch a movie. Bought at Best Buy new with a price match from Frys for $80. Good Price at that time.
I'm glad I got it and recommend it ot everyone.
I have two samsung DVD/VHS, v9700 and V9800, a JVC DVD/VHS that dvd doesn't work and that lasted less than 7 months. Samsung TV with the V9800 and LG TV with the V9700.

Pros: was clear picture when it worked
Cons: stops working every 3 months.  VCR rewind takes forever.

This thing is junk.  Warranty is 1 yr parts, 90 days labor.  Thing stopped moving just before 90 days.  Called Samsung, they made me push buttons and reset it.  Knew that was gonna come back and bite me.  3 months later it's dead again.  Seems alot of people are having the same problem.  Guess I get to pay for labor now.

Plays clear, but VCR rewind is deathly slow.
