Pros: Good Price Point, LCD Quality, Brand Name Cons: Not the Highest Refresh Rate or Picture Quality around.
I recently upgraded my monitor at work, for specific usage of auto cad programs and civil design. Although it is specifically a work place monitor, I've managed to include some information about DVD's, Videos, and even some games I have used at work. ...
Pros: Acceptable, decent colors and image, saves energy and runs cool Cons: Quite a few. See the review.
Introduction -< b> There was a time not so long ago when I knew more about electronics and computers than anyone I knew. Which is to say, not much, but more than most people. That made me feel good because I've never known much about much of anything ...
Pros: Contrast of 2000:1 with a 2ms Response Time! 3yr warranty! Affordable! Cons: Too short, and needs an auto-adjust now and then.
During my latest PC upgrade (it’s been a while), I chose to pick up a new display (two actually). My old 19” CRT was pretty bulky and I wanted to reclaim some of the desktop space I lost years ago! The Monitor The Samsung SyncMaster 906BW ...
Pros: Good performance, nice style Cons: lack of features might be a problem for some
I realized I have some sort of obsessive-compulsive disorder when I started looking for a flat screen monitor. All I wanted was a basic, low-cost screen that would take up less space on my cramped desk than my old tube monitor. I ended up spending way ...

Pros: Great Picture, awesome widescreen! Cons: No height adjustment
I bought this from future shop about a month ago and so far I love it. I love the widescreen aspect, and the monitor is great. It gives me great quality and it was so simple to set up. The only thing I dislike is that you can't adjust the height of the monitor.
Pros: Everything Cons: 906CW is the better version
No cons at all on the 906CW
I did my homework and discovered the 906CW is the better choice over the 906BW version of this monitor.
I purchased the 19" 906CW at Best Buy last month and have had no problems, I am very satisfied. It was easy to set-up, the stand is sturdy enough for my needs. I was able to tweak the text size through the Control Panel's Display Properties (advanced) menu. The Magic Tunes Premium software that came with the monitor worked great for setting brightness, etc. The power button is not bright at all (cover it with a sticky note or Bandaid if it bothers you).
This is an awesome monitor for the money. I have no negative comments after using this monitor for a month, both for text and graphics work. The colors are amazingly true to life. But look for the CW version of this monitor to get the better quality.
906 BW - Clearly the leader of the pack! by tasseldad ,Nov 07 '07
Pros: Stunningly bright and clear. Solid base. Software included. Gorgeous! Cons: None. No speakers but who cares?
I was up-sold the 906BW from the 940N by a clerk at Staples and for once it was solid advice. Just walking down the aisle of monitors, the 906 BW stood out by a long mile with its bright, clear and vivid display. I've been using for about two hours and it is such a joy to work with that I'd love to take it to work! Clear text, excellent photos and absolutely no issues with refreshing make this a wonderful addition to your computer. I'm running mine off a laptop that doesn't have DVI and even in analog mode it is a show-stopper. My next pc will have DVI and I'm looking forward to seeing what the 906 can really do!
