A computer I've owned for 2 years

Pros: DVD, Ethernet, extra drive bay, USB on front, nice hard drive.
Cons: Overheats, no 3dfx, poor speakers, awful modem.
I've had this Compaq 5284 for 2 years now. I think the original price of it was around $2000 in April of 1999. It has served me well these past two years.

First off, let me say that back in April of 1999, this was pretty top of the line....

Ive owned this computer for about 3 years now. For the first year and a half, the computer was pretty good. It was adequate enough for me. But the last year and a half has been a nightmare. I cannot multitask worth anything. Listening music and talking...
