Pros: Little shutterlag, good responsiveness, decent battery life, LOTS of variable settings, great fireworks shots.
Cons: no manual customization. TERRIBLE Macro. Slow, sometimes inaccurate focus. Very small internal memory.

I bought this camera from Costco. It is a good camera for size, weight and responsiveness. 7.2 megapixels is very nice for being able to print high quality pictures.

I do not care for this camera for myself, since this camera does not allow me to have enough control over the shot.

I can use the scene mode to change ISO and shutter speed and Aperture. I found that the camera did focus nicely on shots in the distance, scenery and for generic snapshots.

This camera took some of the best fireworks pictures I have ever taken. There was very little shutterlag, and it worked pretty well for action shots.

I would buy this camera for my mother who is a near complete technophobe. This camera has easy to set up menus and settings. It has super basic settings and more adjustable settings.

But it does not allow me to do as much as I want to do.

I would recommend this camera for anyone who wants to take snapshots and photos around town. I would not recommend this camera for anyone who wants to make more stylish or artistic photos.
