When I received my free Harmony One Universal Remote Control, made by Logitech, I was thrilled. I am a member of an online rewards program, and received this $250 remote absolutely free! I had no idea this universal remote would be so different from ...
Pros: quick setup, fairly easy to use (way easier than figuring out 4 remotes!) Cons: expensive, may not have everything set up perfectly the first time
My husband and I recently finished most of our basement to create a space in this small house where we can entertain more than three people at a time. Of course, this was the perfect opportunity for him to finally buy a huge plasma TV, Blu-Ray ...
Pros: Runs a LOT of devices, feels good to use, fewer buttons Cons: Fingerprint-prone, no RF, expensive
Note: the Harmony One does not come with an HDMI cable. One of the sellers must be providing a cable and somehow that has made it into the item title. I joined a website called Bzzagent.com several months ago. The site occasionally gives out items for ...
Pros: Easy to set up, easy to hold, easy to use. Cons: Too fragile. Replacement procedure took too long.
Having a fairly complicated A/V setup from many different manufacturers, a horrible set of remotes and arcane key presses to do simple tasks like turn on the DVD or switch to the DVR, I hoped the Logitech Harmony One universal remote would be the ...
Pros: 2.2" Touch Screen Display, Sculpted & Backlit Buttons, Rechargeable, Easy To Program Cons: Glossy Surface Shows Fingerprints, No RF or Bluetooth, Only 3 Activities on Each Display Page
The introduction of the new Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote has really raised some eyebrows and produced a lot of chatter in the electronics gadget market. Once you see this remote and try it for yourself you will understand what all the ...
Pros: Easy to use, streamlines multiple activities. Cons: IR only, no PlayStation3 function, can be hard to program, expensive.
I never thought I would spend $200 on a remote. And I never thought that I would be recommending it. But, a few weeks ago, I couldn't remember how to turn on my TV, and had to make myself a cheat sheet. I had to do something. After much ...
Cons: - The piano black finish is glossy and shows fingerprints readily.
Several months ago we decided to update our entertainment equipment. We bought a 46" Sony Bravia XBR4 LCD TV and a Playstation 3. We had an existing Sony VCR/DVD system. Not a full blown home theater but with our Comcast HD DVR cable box we have four ...

The Logitech Harmony One Universal Remote Control is by far the most intuitive remotes I have seen for the price. I work in the electronics industry installing consumer electronics in homes and have worked with many different Universal Remotes in ...

We got the Harmony One remote a few weeks ago to eliminate our growing collection of remote controls. So far, we really like it! Setup was relatively easy. The hardest part about it was going around the house writing down model numbers for all the ...

This remote has a sleek, modern look and is super easy to use and program! (We had it programmed to control a high tech projector setup, surround sound system, satellite box and multiple gaming consoles). I never understood why we needed some ...
Pros: Price Cons: Limited functionality. Specifically will not work with Denon's AVR 3808Ci receiver or a HD Tivo.
Personally, I don't have the cycles to Q/A a consumer electronics product for a billion dollar company like Logitech. So, this product really disappointed me when the out-of-box software for the Mac had known bugs, found only by surfing their tech support site. After hours of tinkering with the s/w which crashed on Leopard (Mac OS 10.5.2), losing configurations, etc, I finally got my A/V components to turn on/off. I was unable to use features on the receiver like my iPod dock, but every device turned on and off correctly. Seems rather basic for $200! Fortunately, I was able to easily return this product for a full refund. Hopefully, I'll soon publish another review for a winning solution!
I really enjoy this remote by grmason06 ,Jul 02 '08
Pros: Its simple to setup and reliable. Cons: The price is a little high at $250.00. Hopefully, it will come down some.
Hi, I got this remote from bzzagent.com. As soon as it was delivered I had it out of the box and working in less than 35 minutes. I had no problems configuring it on my PC. It turns on my receiver, tv, and DVR satellite dish with one click. If I want to watch a movie I press the DVD button and boom there is my movie. I love the LCD screen. The placement of the buttons are easy to memorize. Especially, for people like me who only watch DVR shows, or channel surf. Also, if for some reason one of your devices doesnt turn on you press help and it usually fixes itself.
