Pros: Price relative to others. Also thought KitchenAid had a great name. Boy was I wrong.
Cons: Quality.. Quality... Quality.. I've had to repair or replace every KitchenAID appliance in the house.

I built a nice house in 2003 KitchenAid appliances throughout. I bought primarily on price and what I thought was a good reputation. The appliances: Double Oven, Trash Compactor, built in Microwave, built in Refer, Dish washer, etc. .The only items that were not KitchenAid were the GE cooktop and GE wine cooler. I've had to repair or replace all KitchenAid items and as I write this all the food in the freezer is melting... in the winter... Sure wish I would have spent a couple thousand dollars extra on decent product.

A cheap price means a cheap product that you'll regret later. I'm not a GE bigot but will certainly not buy KitchenAId in the future. I hope you don't either.
