by dkozin Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Nov 03 '04
Pros: Inexpensive, 512 MB capacity, lifetime warranty
Cons: Not the fastest
Since my P anasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2 digital camera came with an 8-Mb Secure Digital card (SD Card), which could fit less than 10 photos at highest resolution in Fine mode, I needed to get a larger SD card. I went ...

You can never have enough

Cons: Write lock

WOW to the Warranty!
by vomithaus ,Mar 16 '06
Pros: Lifetime warranty. Fast, no hassles service. They pay shipping in warranty work.
Cons: It died.
It was just basically a stick of flash memory until one day it up and died (about 6 months after buying it). No reader would even acknowledge it was there! It was a gift, so I had no bill, but phoned up Kingston anyway. They asked me a few basic questions (did I try re-formatting it, what device did was it used in. ect.), then passed me on to the RMA people who took my details to send me a replacement. After a 10 min wait on the phone I had a FEDEX account number that I could use to ship back my card. Yes, that's right... they paid the shipping BOTH ways! In fact, if I wanted they would ship out the replacement immediately if would give my credit card number to put a hold on the value of the card.

Needless to say, I am now a Kingston-ram guy.
