Pros: Economical, Improved rubber tires, basket, and recline mechanism. Easy assembly and use. Cons: Questionable locking mechanism, no reversible handle, weight, less solidly constructed as pricier models.
While researching strollers for our now 3.5 week old baby, I looked far and wide for what I was hoping would be the "perfect" stroller. What I soon realized was, that there probably isn't one perfect stroller for everyone. It really comes down to what ...
Pros: light weight, reliable, and comfortable Cons: doesn't fit just any infant carrier
I was given this stroller by a friend that no longer needed it. It was one of the best strollers I ever had. This stroller went through two children and is still going today with a friend that i have passed it down to. This is a reliable stroller for ...
Pros: Lots of great features: big basket, cup holder, 5 point harness Cons: Plastic tires may not stand up to New England winters

Pros: Lots of features for the money. Car seat snaps in. Cons: A little heavy. Poor assembly manual. 1 or 2 flimsy looking parts.
I have been using the Graco LE MetroLite Stroller for almost 2 weeks now, and have been pretty pleased with its performance so far. Assembly was a bit of a pain. It took about half an hour, as there are an incredible amount of steps, and the ...
Pros: Easy to maneuver. Lightweight. Easy to fold and put in car. Cons: Brakes aren't perfect...but work.
I received this stroller after registering for it for my baby shower. After 6 months of use, I have to say I like it a lot. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I also like the color, doesn't show dirt, and can be used for a boy or girl. My ...
Pros: Easy steering Cons: Storage not big enough Car seat woes
My husband and I registered for the Graco Metrolite travel system and received it as a present at our shower. The stroller part of the travel system was very easy to put together for my husband. He had it together in 10 minutes. The base of the car ...
Pros: Nice big wheels for wonky sidewalks--biggest wheels you'll find short of an all-terrain stroller. Cons: Large indoors and when folded. Seat cover difficult to remove. Kinda ugly.
I live in Washington DC, and our sidewalks are horrible. When I went stroller shopping I planned on getting a Maclaren because I'm not a stroller person at all, and I wanted something small and light. Unfortunately the Maclaren's wheels are also small ...
Pros: Smooth ride; nice, rubber wheels; comfortable ride for baby
Cons: Not very durable; parts will break; not worth the price
I purchased this stroller along with a Graco car seat while I was pregnant after conducting a great deal of research. Although I have enjoyed the convenience of plugging my baby's car seat into the stroller when she is sleeping, I would not buy this ...
Pros: basket size Cons: not easy to use, cumbersome, too big
This stroller is convenient and inconvenient for exactly the same reason, it is big. The pros -- the basket size is great for an all day shopping trip or if you need to haul a lot of stuff to an event. The parent tray is a nice feature as long as you ...
Used this stroller for 2 years and loved it by zacsmom111 ,Aug 04 '08
Pros: roomy, access large basket while seat is reclined, tray and cup holder for kid's snacks, Cons: bigger than an umbrella stroller and doesn't fold as small
We've had this stroller for 2 years, and had no problems with it. Yes, it is bigger than some, but we used it to bring lunch and blankets to the zoo, and to bring home a gallon of milk and something quick for dinner from the store. We used it to walk to the park often, and with a rain cover used it in the Seattle winter while our son stayed dry. Folds easier if basket is closed, and you reverse it so the front wheels are in a more forward position. Loved that the Graco car seat snaps into stroller. Still use this stroller to get our son to sleep for naps, and we can wheel it into his bedroom still asleep. We've had no problems with the wheels or anything.
great stroller until it breaks by grrlwonder ,Jan 18 '07
Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, has all the neccessary comforts. Cons: Eventually they break and they break badly.
I bought this stroller for my daughter in February 2005. I have loved it since the day I got it. It's lightweight, fits in the trunk of our car and has everything I need - storage, cup holders, maneouverability and comfort.
I used this stroller every single day as I don't have a car on most days. I tried to find a smaller umbrella stroller but none of them compared to my metrolight.
Unfortunately, yesterday (January 2007) as i tried to go over a curb, the handlbars of the stroller broke off in my hands! My stroller showed no signs of wear until that moment. It couldn't have happened at a worse time - I am 8 months pregnant, it was night time, snowy and my daughter was asleep in the stroller.
Needless to say I am disappointed. I planned to use this stroller for my son and I hate that things are so disposable in this day and age.
I've emailed Graco to let them know but I don't expect anything from them given the short warranty on their products.
