Pros: Superbly efficient, Can improve air quality Cons: Price
What is the big hoo-ha over Dyson vacuum cleaners, huh? It looks funny, looks gaudy and looks more like a child's toy? Well, to para-phrase the man who invented it (James Dyson) "When you go into a shop and see a row of vacuum cleaners, they all look the ...

Pros: Excellent, low maintenence filtration. Cons: wand/handle not very convenient
I bought one of these Dyson's from Costco about four months ago after reading some mixed reviews here on epinions. My last vacuum was also a bagless, which always kept getting my dogs long white hair wrapped around the filter in the dust cup. This ...

Pros: Great suction and cleaning ability, easy to empty, easy to use. Cons: No headlight.
My wife and I decided our old bag Eureka had seen better days long ago. We just adopted a dog and it was struggling to pick up the hair. While shopping for vacuums the unique design of the Dyson caught out eye, and after reading several user reviews on ...

Pros: Too numerous to mention (especially in 15 words), but biggest things are suction & disposal. Cons: Accessing wand attachment is clumsy and time-consuming. Not much else though.
I have had other vacuums before (usually Hoover's) and originally was interested in the Wind Tunnel because of it's good reviews from Consumer Reports. After reading other's reviews about how bad it was in breaking down and burning out motors, I decided ...

Pros: works exactly as advertised Cons: cost for new unit- look around for remanufactured units.
Things that I love about this machine: - super long cord that reaches anywhere on each level on our house. Plug into one socket and go into every room without shutting down and finding a new outlet. - ability to turn off roller brush on smooth or ...

Pros: Powerful vacuum, easy to use Cons: Need to break in the extension hose
I am not much on housework, so anything that gets me to clean is worth writing about. This vacuum lives up to the hype surrounding the brand. The Dyson DC07 performs well on all floor surfaces and almost makes vacuuming fun. I purchased the Dyson ...

Pros: Filters can be washed and reused. Never looses suction. Works on carpet and hardwood floors. Cons: Price
I bought the Dyson about 5 years ago when I was living in a townhome. I thought that $500 dollars for a vacuum was way too much, but I read the reviews on Epinions and the Dyson seemed to have the fewest complaints. I had always promised myself that ...

Pros: Bagless wonder that takes any amount of dog hair on with vigor. Cons: None!! This vacuum has lasted longer than most I've owned and still retains it's suction.
I've owned this vacuum for more than four years and it's still grabbing all my pet's hair with the force and suction that it had on day one. I opted for this model as opposed to the special pet model because it's attachments take care of my needs quite ...

Pros: Easy to use! Durable! Cons: Hair gets wrapped around filter
This is a great vacuum for someone who doesn't like to vacuum! I have had this vacuum for 2 years and have not had any problems. I got it because of the reviews for the great suctioning power. I have cats (rather my husband brought cats into the ...

Pros: Long cord, easy to empty cannister, pretty color Cons: doesn't suction next to wall, Overall poor suction
I read the reviews. I fell for the hype. I bought the machine. I am so disappointed. My $100 seven year old Dirt Devil works better than this machine. I use the vacuum on hard wood, linoleum, and carpeting. Our house is approximately 80% carpeting. ...

Pros: Great suction, easy to empty. Cons: Hose attachment wand difficult to assemble/disassemble.
Purchased Dyson DC07 in Dec. '06 after reading good reviews on here. After using it for 1 year I would only rate it so-so. Yes, it has superior suction and picks up pet hair well. Yes, it can go from hard floors to carpet. Yes the base is smaller ...

Pros: Picks up just about everything, easy to empty, one piece extension arm Cons: Rather large, grinding noise (see review)
We have had this vacuum for a little over a year and have never experienced any major problems. After buying it we found that we had about twice as much dirt in the carpet as the previous vacuum was picking up. It picks up the smallest particles, and has ...

Pros: Everything. Light, effective, totally impressive. Not a bad thing to say! Cons: Initial cost. Until you realize what you got and that it's really a one-time investment.
One word: WOW! I don't think I could be any more impressed with this vacuum if someone had given it to me and paid me to use it! I had a Hoover Windtunnel. I bought it when they first came out, and actually paid almost as much for it as I did for my ...

Pros: Incredible suction power, no bag, does a better job overall. Cons: Price- Advertising leads you to believe the pet machine does more(you are paying for parts!)
Okay- So Target had a great deal this week on the Dyson- 100 dollar gift card if you bought one, and if you sign up for a credit card, another 10% off- so total savings about 130 dollars off of a 400 dollar vacuum. So I bought the Dyson- first I ...

Pros: Great Suction, Easy to snap apart to clear clogs, good attachments. Cons: See above for two minor complaints.
I have had this exact model for about 9 months. Cleaning power is the most important thing to me and this is the best vac I have owned. It is a bit pricey but we purchased ours at Kohls. We used the 15% off coupon and also got a $gift card for each ...
