Pros: Simple to use, easy clean up, flavor is not over-powering Cons: Flavor too weak for those who like robust flavors, Price is too high.

Pros: These flavored Pods were a treat for me. The aromas and flavors were provocative! Cons: I'd like the flavors to be even stronger.
I've never been a Starbucks customer, nor have I been much on flavored coffees. However, I do love coffee and drink way too much of it, I guess, for my own good. Since receiving my Senseo® Coffeemaker, I've made a regular coffee center on my ...
Pros: Nice aromas in these coffees; the ease of Senseo and the fun of flavors. Cons: No decaf available; flavors and coffee could be a tad bit stronger.
As a fan of flavored coffees, I was eager to try the new Senseo flavored versions of their standard pod coffee. One afternoon, I got down my cup, filled the Senseo coffee pot with water, popped open the pod package and set down to tasting. The ...
Pros: No fuss, no muss. Base coffee is nicely balanced, medium roast. Cons: Each pod makes only 4 ounces of flavored coffee. Flavors are mild.
A while back I discovered the ease of using Philips Senseo Single Serve Coffee System, but mused 'what if' they also came in flavors like hazelnut, mocha or Irish creme? Now, those same clever folks at Douwe Egberts have introduced 3 new ...
Pros: Flavors, finally! Cons: Flavors lacking in finesse, less coffee packed in each pod
Ever since coming into ownership of a Senseo coffee machine many months ago, I've had the pleasure of a quick cup of perfect coffee every time without fanfare, hassle or more than 90 seconds of time spent. The hardest part of the job is filling the ...
Pros: An easy, quick way to prepare sweet, flavored coffee. Cons: No strong coffee flavor; too sweet and artificial-tasting; flavored pods are more expensive.
Ever since I received my Senseo almost a year ago, I've been a slave to its convenience. Sure, you cannot beat the taste of a hot cup of coffee that was freshly ground from whole beans minutes before it hit your cup. However, first thing in the ...
Pros: Smells Great when brewed, new exciting flavors Cons: Doesn't taste as strong as it smells, needs more flavor for my taste
I have been a Senseo fan since these sleek little machines came out. The taste you get with each brew is fantastic and incomparable to other makers. I have always loved the medium roast pods, as that one is my favorite. So when I was offered to test 3 ...
Pros: It's something different from Douwe Egberts. Cons: Not strong enough and not enough flavor! (SORRY)
Here we GO! - I have owned the Senseo single serve coffee maker for almost a year now. I love it! It continues to amaze me every time I brew a cup or two. My favorite is the medium roast, it makes a perfect cup every time. Recently, I got the ...
Pros: Nice to have a variety of flavors Cons: Taste doesn't quite do it for me, and I really do need decaf
I was very excited when I returned for my monthly weekend at home and saw that I had received the Senseo Flavored Coffee Pods. I tried the Killarney Irish Creamery first because I thought it might taste like Irish Cream coffee. I was a bit ...
Pros: Good variety, nice flavors. I like all three a lot. Cons: I'd be happy with even more choices!
I'm really happy that Senseo has come out with a variety of flavored pods. My one complaint before was that there wasn't any variety in the grocery store in choices of pods. I like the Killarney the most, but the Vanilla and Hazelnut are very good as well. I hope they continue to put out new flavors. I rarely go out and buy coffee at a coffee house anymore, and I'll do so even less often with a better selection of pods available.
Senseo flavored offers something new by bobrownsmom ,Apr 12 '05
Pros: Flavored coffee now available in a single serving. Flavors are good. Cons: could have a little more "punch" in the flavor department
Of course, the Senseo coffee maker is a dream since it is so easy to use. We use it daily at our house with excellent results. We tried the flavored coffees and like them, though the flavor could have a bit more "punch" to it. It is nice to have a variety to choose from every morning rather than the same old regular flavor. I would say the flavors are good, but not excellent. Try it for yourself and see what you think.
Senseo Vienna Hazelnut saves me money by brunaroma ,May 01 '05
Pros: Easy to make, don't need to purchase the flavored creamer anymore Cons: No flavored decaf available yet, no tea available yet
This review is for the Vienna hazelnut flavored pods (it's actually a 16 pack). The hazelnut flavor is a little on the light side, but that's the way I like it. It saves me some money on buying the flavored creamer for my senseo coffee. Now I just add milk and sugar and I'm set. I hope they will start making tea for my senseo soon.
Way better than the competition by roseinkc ,Apr 25 '05
Pros: Excellent quality, very tasty. So glad to have these as a choice. Cons: I would love a few more flavor choices.
I have been using my Senseo Coffee Machine for about 6 months and really like the ease of use. My only regret has been the lack of flavored Douwe Egberts coffee pods.
I've tried the competitors' flavored products and was REALLY let down by watery-tasting coffee and very artificial "flavors."
I was excited to try the Douwe Egberts pods and they did not disappoint. I found the flavor and aroma strong enough for me, so that, combined with the excellent quality coffee, I would purchase these again.
The combinations are quite nice: Vienna Hazelnut Waltz, Paris Vanilla Bistro, and Killarney Irish Creamery. I'm a hazelnut fan so the Vienna is my favorite. All slightly sweet and a welcome addition to my selection of coffee pods.
Delicious! I've been waiting for flavored pods! by jfrowen ,Apr 14 '05
Pros: Great flavours for a quick cup of Joe! I love the Killarney and Vanilla Bistro. Cons: 16 pods per bag is only about 8 large cups of coffee.
I was excited to finally try the new Douwe Egberts Senseo pods. I eagerly tried one of each. My favorites are absolutely Killarney and Paris. I adore vanilla in any form, so both were perfect! I enjoy being able to pop one in and have a great and quick flavored cup of coffee.
Pros: Good hazelnut flavor, nice switch from the standard coffee pods. Cons: Artificial vanilla flavor tasted like marshmallows.
I recently received the three new flavors of Douwe Egberts Flavored Coffee Pods for the Senseo Coffee Machine. The first one I tried, Vienna, was a delicious hazelnut mocha. I adored it, which made me curious about the other flavors. The Killarney Irish Cream flavor was okay, but I'm not crazy about Irish Cream in general so my opinion means little. I was most excited about the Paris Vanilla flavor, because my favorite coffeehouse drink is a vanilla latte. Unfortunately, this tasted like liquid marshmallows - the coffee flavor was hidden under the artificial flavoring. A big disappointment, however another cup of the Vienna coffee made me forget all about it. I will definitely enjoy the Vienna flavor again from time to time, as a switch from my beloved dark roast.
