Pros: Works like a high-end piece of kitchen equipment. Great Warranty. Cons: A little pricey.
With the Cuisinart TOB-195 I guess you pay for some of both. When my wife's GE toaster oven of several years, yes the original toaster oven that barely fits anything but toast or a pot-pie in it,gave up the ghost I mentioned that I wanted ...

Pros: Easy to clean, easy to use, attractive styling. Cons: Crumb tray has to be removed from the back (big deal)
When our Delonghi toaster oven suddenly stopped working just after the one-year warranty expired, we started researching the best machine to replace it with. After reading many positive reviews on this site, we decided not to waste our money on another ...

Pros: Powerful, easy to use. Cons: Power means watch out what you run (load) on one circuit!
The Cuisinart TOB-195 Stainless Steel The Cuisinart is definitely a pleasantly easy push button accurate toaster oven, and this is my first impression of it. Well honestly, I was a little bit skeptical of this stainless steel "work of stainless ...

Easy Bake Oven done Right
by kokobobojr ,Dec 26 '08
Pros: Sleek Stainless Fast Cooking No heat escape Easy to use Cons: None so far.
After mulling over tons of reviews, I finally settled on this one. Quite similar to the TOB-175, except for the Stainless Steel. Being a singleton, I use this more than my oven. Cooking is almost too easy with it. There is an idication when it reaches the selected temp, and an alarm sounds when done. Relatively no heat escapes, which makes it very safe and comfortable for your home. I am very glad I went with this one.

Great Investment
by dkrieb ,Nov 24 '07
Pros: Appearance, size, Digital LED controls, perfect toast first time, rapid heat up, quality Cons: No interior light, door gets extremely hot which is characteristic of these types of ovens.
Just received my oven the other day. After researching virtually all of the units available both on this site as well as others; this was the model to choose based on features, size, performance, value and Cuisinart quality.
All of the controls are intuitive and easy to use. Perfect toast the first, lots of interior room, heats up quickly, extensive range of controls- both preset and user adjustable. This is the oven purchase if your looking to upgrade.

No oven shut off at end of timer cycle, dangerous
by w20cove ,Dec 11 '08
Pros: Looks nice, small foot print. Cons: timer will not shut the oven off,
Looks like a great convection oven at the store but the saleman knew nothing about it so took a chance and bought it and brought it home turned it on convection, set the timer for one minute, pressed the start button, ten minutes later it still was cooking! Apparrently, due to my high frequency hearing loss I could not hear the timer beeper and the oven does not shut off at the end of the timer cycle so it just keeps on cooking away and won't stop cooking until 4 hours later! I found out that you have to manually off the oven off when the timer cycle ends...who ever thought that up certainly did not take into account that some people cannot hear the timer beeper. Very odd to me because most other convection ovens do shut off at the end of the timer cycle. Now I have to take it back after driving all over the place to find this oven, what a waist of gasoline!

Comparable product

Pros: Great toast. I haven't tried anything else yet. Cons: It does get hot. Handle it with care when getting food out.
I just bought a Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven Broiler at Costco. Costco's model number is CTO-390 and it seems identical to the Cuisinart TOB-195 except for having a black case. It appears to be an excellent product and is only $99 at Costco. To get a duplicate pdf user manual, go to the Cusinart web site and search for the TOB-195 manual.
