I initially bought this product when looking to find a good foundation that would conceal and have a smooth finish.

Cover Girl Clean Makeup is great for people with sensitive or acne prone skin (such as mine). I wore this all through high school and early college.

Admittedly, I moved on from
Cover Girl Clean Makeup because, I found that every time I would put on a shirt, hug someone and brush against a shirt...or just touch my face then touch the steering wheel...I would leave a makeup foundation trail wherever I went.


Cover Girl Clean Makeup is smooth, with good coverage and great for those with sensitive skin (by my personal experience). However, the down side is that it comes off very easily. I used the Cover Girl powder over top and both smudged off within two hours of wear.

However, with modern beauty advancements, I may have better luck with that paired with a finishing spray to keep the makeup on my face and off of my hands, or any nice leather car seats some poor sap lets me ride in. All in all,
Cover Girl Clean Makeup is great for wear, with caution.

I am 15 years old, so I have a few pimples here and there, and to make things worse I practice basketball 2 hours a day. I need something that doesn't cause breakouts, and covers the 2 or 3 blemishes that I regularly have. My mom has used Cover Girl since she was my age so when I started wearing make up, this is what she gave me. I love this foundation because it doesnt make my face look like I have about 5 inches of make up on.

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. I got it because it was cheap.(I now know why) It covers up okay but after it dried it made my skin look orange, like a fake tan out of a can. It may be cheap but some things are to cheap to be true.

I was looking for a new foundation that was light and very natural and i came across COVER GIRL CLEAN MAKEUP and decided to try it since covergirl is my all time favorite makeup brand.

It was made for normal skin but since i have combo/oily skin i got COVER GIRL FRESHLOOK PRESSED POWDER to keep oil away and set my make up.

so when i tried it on, it blended perfectly with my skin! it evened out my skin tone and looked totally natural!! i would definetly recommend this to anyone looking for a light but not too sheer foundation that looks very natural!

I would recommend that you get the fragrance free version because the regular one has a very strong noxema scent.

Have used this make-up since high school. About twenty years or so ago I believe the formula changed. Tried a lot of other things. I noticed that the original formula was back. So, that is what I have been using since. Have tried everything, but I like Cover Girl Original Formula Clean Make-up the best. Love Cover Girl cosmetics in general but this formula is the best one for me. And, I simply love the clean fresh fragrance of this foundation.

Like many other reviewers, this was the first makeup I used. I'm lucky to have pretty good skin, and I've always had some kind of skin-care regimen. In other words, I NEVER sleep in my makeup, always use sunscreen, etc. I've used quite a few different kinds of foundation over the years, but I often come back to Cover Girl Clean Makeup, especially when weather is warm. (In Texas, that's most of the year...)

I like the light-to-medium coverage, and the Noxema smell appeals to me. (reminds me of when I was a kid, I guess) I get blemishes occasionally, even at my age (37), and this makeup seems to help my skin clear up. I have never had a problem with it being streaky or making me look orange, as some reviewers have noted, but I make sure I use a shade that isn't too dark for my fair skin.

I should also mention that I've gotten more compliments when I've used my Cover Girl Makeup than when I used department store makeup.

All in all, this is a nice, reliable foundation for me, and the price is good, too.

This foundation is not over priced, and has a huge selection of colors. This stuff isn't that bad, and if you get tanner or lighter, and you like this product, just go out and buy a different shade. It's not that over priced.

This makeup gives a natural, creamy finish. It is great on dry skin, and does not accentuate wrinkles. The coverage is pretty good, but won't cover severe blemishes. I have problems with acne and this does not aggravate the condition. It is very easy to find a color match (classic ivory is perfect for me). This is one of the least expensive and most readily available foundations around.

On the negative side, it has a heavy feel so is not great for warm weather. If you don't use powder (I don't like to use it myself) it will come off pretty easily. But overall, this is a great product for the money.

i had acne at the time of this purchase. i tried to use it to cover that up. but it didn't do that. i really disliked this product. it has a very thick feeling. it also smells very bad. the feeling is the worst part!

I have been using this foundation for years. I have pretty sensitive fair skin. This make up feels pretty light if you use it in SMALL quantities. It can be alittle greasy but using a little powder to blot shiny spots can do the trick. It comes unscented which is a big bonus in my book. This make up is used best for everyday use just going to the store, school, or work. I wouldn't suggest it for a night out on the town since it is not really sweat proof. It does it's job for everyday use.

When I bought this foundation I liked it alot. It was a very nice color and covered well. After wearing it for a while I noticed that it had transfered onto my collar and would get over anything that touched my face! It was embarassing and I wasn't even wearing a lot. Everytime I would wipe my face with a napkin the napkin would be covered in foundation. It was not transfer free and I hated that so I threw it out. I have since found a foundation that is virtually transfer free and much more natural looking "Glamma Whipped" by TIGI.

I just started using this product a few months ago and i love it. Being a teenager, its hard to find makeup that doesnt make your skin breakout. This makeup actually made my skin clear up. I have bad scarring on my chin that looks like a bruise and thats hard to cover up sometimes but that is just a personal con. Its lightweight and I dont smell it. The bottel last a long time. but if you put on too much you look pale so you only need a dab on your forehead cheeks,nose and chin. Its waterbased and i wouldnt use anything else. This works so well i have no need to.
