This straightener had been great since I purchased it in November but it just died this morning.  It's strange that straighteners I purchased at grocery stores for $30 lasted at least five times longer than one I purchased for $100.

Pros: Will give you EXTREMELY straight, sleek, smooth, shiny hair!
Cons: After repeated uses your hair will begin to break, split eventually will fall out.

I must say that after using this straightner for the first time i was in shock by the results. I have very curly, frizzy hair and with this iron i did not even need to blow dry it. My hair was silky smooth and extremely shiny and straight. BUT, after repeated uses i noticed that it burned my hair a little at the tips, but i kept using it regardless..and eventually i lost 5 inches of hair due to using this straightner because it did straighten my hair but it also damaged it so much that my hair kept breaking and falling. So if you want to to use this product once in a while for special ocassions its AMAZING, but if you want this as an everyday iron, you will definitely experience serious hair damage!
