Incredibly thick froth
by tute ,Apr 02 '05
Pros: Unbelievable frothed milk Cons: glass carafe broke when it fell over on the table.
This is an amazing frother, a thousand times better than the mini-blenders on a stick. I threw those all out. The froth this makes is so firm, it is like marshmallow. The froth is triple the volume of the milk you start with. I bought one on a whim and now I can't live without it. I even bought backups. My husband and kids started drinking more milk because it tastes so good when frothed. He froths it with just a few drops of honey then heats it up slightly in the microwave. Instant steamed milk. You don't need much sweetener because of the aeration. It does not work with cream or preheated milk.
