Pros: Talking caller-id, computerized phone directory, total customization, what an amazing phone! Cons: I have found none. When you see it, you'll really believe it!
Why I bought the Panasonic KX-TG2680N 2.4GHz GigaRange Elite SST Cordless Phone:
My husband and I love any piece of technology that makes life easier. This phone is truly the best investment in a phone we've ever made. I know what you may...
Pros: range, clarity, frills, NiMH batteries Cons: fragile, non-duplex speakerphones, not a value
(updated 4/20 after more experience with the Elite)

Pros: Small unit with speaker-phone built into handset Cons: Battery life(design) & complicated features
I had a previous model of Panasonic's 900mhz cordless phone. It was a nice slim design but it did not have a loud enough ear piece and the buttons eventually did not work. (forget model)
The new elite is smaller and has slightly better...
Pros: Cool concept; compact design Cons: Flimsy antenna; not very intuitive feature-wise; too-quiet speakerphone (even when turned up to max)
I bought this phone as a second, home office phone. I also own a Vtech 2.4 ghz 2341 that I am pleased with, but was lured by the talking caller ID aspect of this phone.
Pros: Announces the name of the caller instead of the phone number!! Cons: difficult to navigate the answering machine and caller ID buttons
This is the only product I have found that announces the name of the caller instead of the caller's phone number. It does not require you to record the names - rather it uses the text to speech technology to say the name. For the majority of calls, it is...
Pros: This is the best phone with all the features to make ur life easy ! Cons: Can program only 1 direct dial number and no short-cuts for frequently called numbers.
I have been on the lookout for quite some time to find the best deal on these 2.4 GHz phones with answering machines and i finally found this phone. The talking caller-id is a great feature and this alone won me over. Now, i don't have to rush to find...
Pros: Long lasting, good range, dual-color and dual-ringer types, address book. Cons: Microwaves interfere. Only one speed dial. Doesn't hold on to the older message's date/time.
I bought this phone in 2001. Back then it was top-of-the-line. Now in 2006, it's still working good! The only problems now is a couple of the buttons on the handset aren't working, and the display on the main unit is somewhat hard to read. The buttons still all work great on the main unit. Other than that, it went a long time without having any problems.
This phone is not all it is hyped up to be. I have had it for 2 years and had to replace the battery so many times. The antenna is so flimsy! The first time it broke they sent a replacement phone and now this one is broken and it is not under warranty anymore.
Other than those, it is just a phone with nice features (talking caller ID) Speaking of the talking caller ID... sometimes it is pointless because it cannot read simple names of people and businesses.
