| saphirrerose7's Full Review: Cedar Point |
I went to Cedar Point about three years ago and I had the time of my life! I was on a pleasure trip and flew to Erie, Pennsylvania and decided since Cedar Point was only a couple hours away, to check it out! Cedar Point is located in Ohio on Lake Erie. Gorgeous scenery!
Costs for Cedar Point is around $40 a person last I went. The admission prices probably change though. Cedar Point is worth every penny.
If YOU are a roller coaster fanatic, there are 17 roller coasters. Thrill rides that'll turn you upside down, or spin you wild! Carousels, kiddie rides, Planet Snoopy, AND-D water rides are here too! If you're into rides that will take you up high and drop you from the sky repeatedly, this Park is for you! The one ride I simply could not bring myself to do was the Top Thrill Dragster! Can you imagine being in only a lap belt but speeding at 120 mph up 420 feet and rotating at 90 degrees falling back to Earth. If there was more than a lousy lap belt for safety, then I MIGHT have attempted the Dragster! This nutty ride is just one of many rides you can attempt! I LOVE the rides that twist around and around. You will find quite a few of those incorporated into the rollercoasters, and thrill rides.
As far as shopping goes, there are plenty of things to look at. I ended up buying some Salt Water Taffy. There is nothing better than Salt Water Taffy! Everything of course is priced sky high, but is a tourist-like place. What do you expect? All Parks are like that!
The food, however, is not too shabby, but the costs are roughly $8-$10 a person, so make sure you eat a good meal before coming here. There is a Johnny Rockets and Macaroni's for family fun eating. As far as alcoholic beverages are concerned, it's limited, but also to be expected. You will find a couple different beers, and malt liquors to choose from like LaBatt Blue Draught, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Wine Coolers, or Bud Light.
Beyond the Amusement Park fun, there are Shows to attend at another fee. You can watch singers, dancers, and instrumentalists here. They Audition quite frequently too if you're interested by the way :-)
Overall, this place is outrageous. I just wish it was in TEXAS!!! I recommend this place to ANYONE AND EVERYONE!
