wonderful memories of Williams Seafood (Reply to this comment)
by cardynalsyn61
I was only there once, but my one visit was enough to earn a special place in my memories. It was the day after my grandmother's wedding (she was 80 then, you go girl!) and my new grandfather took us all out to Williams'.
The crab cakes there are absolutely divine! They make them fresh there in the restaurant. No imported factory-made seafood at Williams. If you're in the area, make it a point to visit. You'll be glad you did!

I am checking out all the family sites, and just seems you all love the seafood sites. It has made me so hungry just reading all about these great seafood delights

Mmmm... (Reply to this comment)

Sounds scrumptious! I just had a craving for good, fresh, cheap seafood served Southern-style, and realized NYC didn't really have anything that fits the bill.
No fancy demi-glaces, no law-fat balsamic cured organic Chilean sea bass, just simple seafood FRIED IN OIL!!!!

Great review, Amanda. Williams has been in Savannah "forever" and is highly regarded if you are hungry for seafood. You can also buy their deviled crabs in the freezer section of some grocery stores, and they are wonderful.
