We are cruise enthusiasts, and have taken a total of 11 cruises so far, but this one was by far the best ever. My Mother in Law was in a wheel chair and the staff went out of their way to make her feel special. KUDOS to all Legend staff. It is a combination of a beautiful ship, an exciting itinerary, wonderful service and an outstanding staff that made this cruise such a memorable experience.
Our embarkation in Tampa was flawless; it took us less than 30 minutes to clear through the necessary paperwork and be on the ship.
The 7 night itinerary included stops in Cozumel, Grand Caymen, Costa Maya and Belize. Cozumel is a so so stop. Nothing to exciting unless you go to Senior Frogs and people watch. Grand Caymen swimming with the StingRays is the best! We missed Costa Maya due to high winds, we couldnt dock there and actually damaged the dock trying. Belize was an okay stop, Id like to go back before I make a final decision.
The food, service, cleanliness of the ship, entertainment and on-board activities were all
very good. The one aspect of the cruise that I found to be a challenge was that there was so much to do, and so little time to do it. At each of the ports of call, there were a number of excursions I would have liked to have taken but time allowed for only one. Oh to have such serious problems!
