I've been to the RCA Dome many times. I've been to various college arenas. But nothing could prepare me for what I was about to see when I entered the Conseco Fieldhouse. Imagine yourself as a small child seeing Disney Land for the first time. I know it may sound cheesy, but this is how I felt. Unfortunately I ended up in the balcony, but the view was still good. The price for the seats were not a strain on the wallet either. If you have the chance though, pay the extra money and sit as close as possible. I briefly had the chance to sit in the fourth row before the usher caught us and it was pretty amazing.
There are two reasons I go to sporting events: 1) To see some great athletes doing what they do best, and 2) To try out the food. Conseco Fieldhouse has some of the best food you will ever see. I remember passing several pizza places and common refreshment stands, a hamburger grill, and I'm pretty sure I saw a real restaurant right inside. They had quite a selection. All in all I had a great time at Conseco Fieldhouse.
