Pros: Second biggest college football stadium in the country
Cons: aluminum benches that are very tight
The Bottom Line: Great stadium, but it's a pain to park and leave the stadium if there's a huge game that weekend.

I've been attending Penn State home games since I was a student in 1995. Over the years, they've added on an upper level above the south end zone. Many critics were upset over this addition, because it got rid of the great views of Mount Nittany. That addition, as well as the new luxury boxes did make the new attendance around 110,000. For big college football games, there's no better place to watch a game (with the exception of maybe the Big House in Michigan).
Most newcomers do not realize that the seats are organized by even and odd numbers. When you walk up the aisle to your seats, even will be on one side, and odd will be on the other. This sometimes causes significant trouble for visitors.
The biggest complaint that I have is the very, very long lines for food. The lines are so long that they extend from the food counter all the way to the back of the concourse, so walking through that line to get to the men's bathroom is very difficult. Another complaint I have is that there are some places in the stadium that have back-to-back women's bathrooms. I'm still not sure why that would ever happen.
The overall food selection is decent. A lot of students walk around selling food and drinks inside the stadium during the game.
Parking became more difficult when they built the minor league baseball stadium right on top of Beaver Stadium a few years ago.
In summary, it's definitely a stadium that you should check out in your life, but it is old, so there will be some things that you will have to accept, though.
