I recommend these speakers to everyone looking for great sound. They are a great example that you don’t have to spend a lot to get a lot. Like every Sony item I’ve ever purchased the first thing you’ll notice is how well they’re packaged. You shouldn’t have to worry about them getting damaged if you are going to get them shipped. If the speakers are visibly mounted in your car it will defiantly add great style to it. These speakers measure 6 ½”. Being 3-way speakers, they give your car’s sound system masterful highs, mids, and lows. The woofer cone is made from Highly Oriented Polyolefin (a.k.a. “HOP”) that cuts down distortion and delivers speedy response. The frequency response is 30 Hz – 30 kHz. They sound just as good if not better then competitor products that cost much more. The peak power handling is 220 watts so they can be run off of a head unit or amp without problems. The speakers have many different mounting holes making for an easy universal fit. The mounting depth is a small 1 ¾” so mounting them in confined areas, such as doors shouldn’t be difficult. I have these 6 ½” speakers in the back of my car and the same speakers but in 5 ½” in the front and am very happy with them.
