Pros: works great with sony components, not calculator-size
Cons: very flaky memory management
The Bottom Line: got all sony and want one remote? get one of sony's cheaper ones. because this has memory issues when you teach it something.

out of the box, this remote worked perfectly with my sony tv and dvd player. after setting the right code for my philips tivo, most of the buttons also worked. then came time to getting the remote to talk to my receiver. none of the presets worked. fine. time to teach this bad boy. after setting all the buttons up and testing it a few times, i was happy and starting putting away my remotes inside a drawer.
well, after switching the remote to my tivo to watch something, i decided to switch it back to my denon and none of the buttons worked. so i got the remote back out and retaught it. after some experimentation, i eventually got it to work again. then i tried relabeling the component names which it forgot about an hour later. i'll spare you the rest of my unproductive evening. i returned it the next day.
unless you got all sony, do NOT get this remote and if you do, get one of their cheaper ones.
