i did alot of searching and reading on receivers before i opted for this unit. has plenty of power for midrange
home theater and for the price there is nothing in its class within $ 200.00. do yourself a favor and save the money and buy this unit. sound seperation is good and has nice tweek options to balance all speakers in a 5.1 dolby setup. i use it to drive one powered subwoofer and also run a bandpass subwoofer and it has plenty of juice for this. Has two compenent video inputs great for satellite and dvd . Wish it had three though. Remote a bit funky in that you cannot just push power to come on and off you must also push dvd,vcr etc. then power. Small gripe compared to what you get for the money. I really cant say enough about this unit. I have had it for two years and and no problems . I am buying another one today for my second setup at home.
