Patron Anejo is still at the top of my list of great tequilas. It has a deep, oak like taste, little to no burn, and a lovely aroma. For a good tequila, there's not too many that top Patron. It's great to sip, and if you want a great margarita (not one for the in-laws) make yourself one. It's a treat! But be careful: once you have a margarita with good tequila, you may never settle for Cuervo or Sauza in your margarita again. Don't believe those who say you should never put great tequila in your margarita. The wonderful flavor of Patron is only highlighted by Cointreau and fresh lime. (But for the blended version with "Margarita Mix," you might want to go with a cheaper Tequila.) Nonetheless, if you enjoy Margaritas, you'll find that the full flavor of Patron can change the taste of this popular cocktail in more ways than you could even imagine. Cabo Wabo is still my favorite, but Patron is a solid, and splendid tequila. When you've finished drinking it, you may even want to keep the bottle. Of course, you may just want to run to the store to buy a replacement bottle.
