The Bottom Line: Wanted a good receiver, with updated technology, for my 12 year old car that would not contrast with the trim (anti-bling). Outstanding Receiver.

I have been highly satisfied with this unit. There are so many good things to say about this receiver.
The ability to be able to match the interior lighting scheme of my car.
The ability to make custom tailored graphics and animations and upload them to the unit. I like that I can even send color information with a particular imagine or animation and the unit will respond accordingly.
Very unassuming look of the receiver does not contrast with the interior trim of my car. It melts right into the dash. Way too many receivers go for ultra-chrome bling bling and stick out like a sore thumb. My interior is black and gray, I like a receiver that matches the look of my car.
The touch screen eliminates the over-complicated navigation of todays receivers. Very few buttons are on the unit, only the important ones(Volume, On/Off/Mute, Display, Angle, Open/Close/Eject). Everything is contextual and well laid out.
The sound is above average and better then I expected. Very crisp, clear sound capturing the subtle nuances of the music, even on MP3's. The EQ functions well and allows you to tailor the sound to match your speaker configurations. The Balance and Fader settings are combined, laid out graphically and allow you to move the centering in the direction you want to go.
The load time for a MP3 CD is between 5 and 10 seconds, after that the full menu, folder and song layout is available instantly. Navigation is good and the information displayed is from either the file name or the ID3 tag.
The remote is small, at approximately 2" x 3/4" and works well.
Documentation is extensive and well written.
