Pros: Takes up little space, runs quietly, saves me from having to do dirty dishes!
Cons: Hose hanger on back of unit is not practical and not necessary.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended! Customer Service line was very helpful, friendly, and polite. Dishwasher takes up little space, does the dirty dishes for me.

| fhood's Full Review: Danby DDW396 22 in. Portable Dishwasher |
So far I have been very pleased with my dishwasher. It really does clean dishes well. It runs quietly and cannot be heard outside of the kitchen. The faucet adapter works fine -- you just screw it onto your existing faucet and then hook the dishwasher's hose up to it. I have noticed that the various wash cycles take longer to complete than what is stated in the manual. The full NORMAL cycle takes about an hour, but I think the manual states it takes 40 or 45 minutes.
The manual itself isn't written very well and is a little bit disorganized. But it is still quite understandable.
I did have to call Danby's Customer Service line to get a new faucet adapter because I stripped the threads in the one originally included with the dishwasher. They sent the replacement out to me FREE OF CHARGE via UPS! The customer service agents I spoke to (2 of them) were very friendly and very helpful.
Some people have said their dishwashers leak water. I have not experienced this. I think as long as you tighten the hoses correctly, you will not have leaks. I have used my dishwasher about 15 times now, and I have yet to see water leaking from the unit.
The Sani-Mode feature really does heat up the hot water excessively. This probably helps in cleaning the dishes and also sanitizes them.
