| davea's Full Review: Canon Elura 40MC Mini DV Camcorder |
Within 6 months of owning this camera it had to go for repairs 3 times. Each time the people at the canon service center claimed to fix a different issue, and each time within a month the camera was broken again. The camera is great for its size and quality picture taking, but if you have any problems with it, you might as well throw it away and write it off. Canon doesn't believe in taking any responsibility for their products reliability, and they are indifferent to how much time your camera spends in their repair shop as opposed to taking video. When I finally requested a new camera thinking this one was a lemon, they flatly refused and offered nothing in return. They are simply a company not concerned with customer service and therefore not worthy of customers.
