I guess I've been lucky with my other shredders, not that I've used them that often. I had no idea just how fast shredder confetti can get just about everywhere before this happened to me. Hopefully neither of us will have to deal with that problem again.

a similiar nightmare with a different shredder. Confetti was everywhere and I was really irritated trying to get the paper out of the blades when it jammed up. Now I know not to buy this one as well.

I remember the movie and thought I'd seen it, but have no recollection of that scene, so maybe not. In any case, it certainly did make a mess.

Do you remember the Whoopi Goldberg movie, "Jumpin Jack Flash"? I will always remember her disastrous encounter with a paper shredder!
