Legally Blonde is about a cute blonde who's snooty boyfriend dumps her because she isn't the kind of girl a future graduate of Harvard law should marry. To try and win him back (as well as show him up), she meets the minimum requirements to enter Harvard Law and turns things upside down with her unconventional approaches.

Reese Witherspoon commands this movie from beginning to end. She plays a seemingly goofy blonde, but her bubbly personality does not mean that she is ignorant. On several occasions she shows that she's not as dumb as people assume her to be, which provides some hilarious embaressment for the people trying to take advantage of her.

This movie is pretty unrealistic as far as the legal world works. Her character is hired as a student intern with a law firm representing a woman accused of killing her much older husband. While the other students are studying their books and trying to help their client, Reese figures things out using her own knowledge of all things blonde.

This is a cute movie that girls will love and guys will love to watch. Its cute, funny, and not at all offensive. Its a light hearted comedy about breaking stereotypes and not letting people push you around or tell you that you aren't good enough. Its no suprise that this was a huge hit at the theatres.
