Lars von Trier is God... (Reply to this comment)

I love his film work. You also forgot that "Europa" is part of a trilogy with 1984's "The Element of Crime" and 1987's "Epidemic" as part of a trilogy concerning Europe's social disintegration. That is a spellbinding film von Trier made. I haven't reviewed it yet but I will once it comes on IFC again. You should've mentioned that he also called the Jury's head Roman Polanski "midget" and ended throwing those awards at the Mediterranean Sea. That was because he was ready to create his greatest achievement yet, "Breaking the Waves". Great Review.

Excellent review, as always.

One little boo boo I noticed:
Lars Von Trier, a talented German director.

The man is Danish.

A recommendation: his earlier film, Medea... quite astounding.
