The Jaws 25th anniversary DVD is a spectacular DVD with a great movie and great special features.

Jaws is an American classic! The film has continued to scare people for over 25 years.

Jaws is the story of a small town's encounter with a great white shark. The small summer town of Amity is preparing for the Fourth of July celebration. A young woman is found mutilated on the beach, the probable cause of death, shark attack. Roy Scheider plays the chief of police for Amity, Chief Brody. Chief Brody is called in to investigate the death. Soon, the shark attacks again, this time killing a little boy. Against the wishes of the city council and mayor, Chief Brody closes the beaches.

It is decided that the shark must be killed. Robert Shaw plays the shark-hunting fisherman, Quint. Matt Hooper (played by Richard Dreyfuss) is called in from the oceanographic institute to help figure out what the shark is. Along with Hooper and Brody, Quint sets out on a mission to kill the shark.

The cast is perfectly assembled. All members of the cast compliment one another resulting in an amazing performance from the three main characters, Hooper, Quint, and Brody. The cast is a delight to see in action.

The Jaws 25th Anniversary DVD boats amazing picture quality for a 25-year-old film. I was pleasantly surprised to see how clear and crisp the film is. The clarity rivals that of even recently released movies. The sound quality is also top-notch.

The Jaws score (written by John Williams) is perfect! The music adds to the mood of every scene. Suspenseful scenes are made even more suspenseful by the music. The music is not only perfect for this movie, it is really great by itself.

Jaws is presented on Universal DVD. The extra features also add to the entertainment value of Jaws.
