Cons: nothing- this camp is fabulous
The Bottom Line: i would deffinetly recommend this camp to any person in need of weight loss.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am sending this letter for all parents and their children to read about Camp Shane. There are many "weight-loss camps" that produce a change in weight. My daughter has been to them. Camp Shane is the only camp that has helped her maintain her weight loss and still motivates her to return to camp. I tend to feel that the camp has given her a nutritonal healthy way of living.
The camp has also given her a great network of friends that she stays in touch with. These girls seem to all enjoy the camp and continually all seem to want to return back.
I owe this all to the Camp Director: David Eittenberg. He has a great insight and understanding towards the campers and their families. He takes out the time to get to know each camper and tries to understand what makes them enjoy the camp.
Camp Shane makes the camper feel good about themselves. It gives the campers a feeling of a close-knit family. The camp not only helps the child/young adult understand about nutrition and health, but helps them develop a better self-understanding. I highly recommend this camp for anyone to go to.
I am totally encouraging any parent to send their child to Camp Shane. It will not only be an experience for the child to reduce his/her weight, but they will also have the opportunity to do this in a fun and loving environment. It will also help them understand the process of how healthy eating and nutrition plays an important role in weight control.
