Superior printer for a great price - highly recommended!

Pros: Fantastic all around printer - great graphics, photos and text.
Cons: Could have a more sturdy, better constructed paper/output tray.
The Bottom Line: While most photo printers tend to lack the ability to print decent text and graphics, the HP 7350 not only prints superior photos, but exceptional graphics and text as well.

Because I do a variety of printing, I was looking for a printer that could print excellent photos, graphics and text. I purchased a Canon S820, an Epson Stylus C82N and an HP Photosmart 7350, and compared the output of all three. The HP Photosmart was the only one that could print extremely good photos, graphics and text. The Epson printed so-so photos and horrible text, and the Canon printed good photos, but poor text. The HP 7350 printed flawless photos (fantastic borderless) and crisp, clear text. Photos were best on HP premium plus photo paper glossy (well worth the money) and fantastic text on HP paper and other papers as well (make sure you select the proper print settings). The digital media feature is great to have as well. I only have 2 USB ports, so being able to plug in my Flash card directly to the printer to print digital photos is extremely useful (and very easy to use). While the HP printer cartridges may be a bit more expensive to buy than other printers, the fact that they have the print heads built into them makes it well worth the extra cash. Because there are times when I may go weeks and weeks without printing, with other printers I have owned I have had problems with clogged print heads (and then wasted lots of ink trying to clean them). With the HP, I don't have to worry about that because the print heads are new with each cartridge that I buy. The paper/output tray is a bit flimsy, but is not reason enough to not buy this printer when considering the excellent output the printer produces. The HP 7350 is, in my opinion, an extremely good printer compared to others in its price range, and I would highly recommend it.
