donnajkal's Full Review: Panasonic SD-YD250 Bread Machine
Several years ago I was after my husband to buy me one of these machines. He was very hesitant saying that it would never get used, like so many other appliances in our kitchen.
Boy was he in for a surprise. This is only the easiest machine to use on the market. I had seen others at friends and family homes and thought they were too much work. After doing some research, I wanted the Panasonic. This was an expensive endeavor, like $250 at the time. It did come with a copy of Electric Bread, which is a must have if you own this machine. The ideas and recipes are wonderful. Usually the recipes are for the larger machines as well, such as the Panasonic. The Panasonic makes a standard 2 pound loaf. Most others on the market at the time were making one pound loaves. I knew my family would gobble down home made bread even from a machine, so I needed a 2 pound loaf maker. The Panasonic also makes a loaf of bread that resembles a loaf of bread. Many other models make a very strange shaped loaf of bread.
If you are trying to sell your home, it would be very wise to crank this machine up to have a loaf ready about the time people are coming in to look at the house. Trust me you won't be sorry.
This machine gets semi daily use in my home and has for the past 8 years, since I've owned it. Great machine.
