Pros: The packers did a pretty good job; few things were broken.
Cons: Things were stolen and it was hard to track what/where/how for insurance purposes.
The Bottom Line: Do not use this company, they are unprofessional and you may get some valuables stolen with difficulty in tracking the items for insurance claims with no support from the owners.

I am so happy that Eopinions has Bekins Van Lines listed. I have wanted to tell the world about our terrible experience with them to discourage others from using them. I am convinced that they have a racket going. The guy who packed us left in the middle of the job, leaving someone else to run the show who had no idea of what was going on. We had some things going to a house, others to storage and everything got completely messed up. Because of all the confusion, our paperwork was also a jumble and we didn't notice that they had stolen 2 giant rugs that were supposed to go into storage. Of course, we thought they were in storage so a year and a half later when our truck arrived with the stored things the rugs weren't there. Luckily I could verify that they were supposed to be accounted for and got reimbursed - but we didn't want money, we wanted our rugs. There were too many things that happened to mention, but when trouble arose, Suzanne Purifoy was conveniently busy or not available, no help at all. I would NEVER use them nor recommend them - use someone else!
