Rashton24's Full Review: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for PlayStation 1
Ladies and Gentleman, I have to confess, I never play video games nor even skateboard. However, I have played Tony Hawks Pro Skater a number of times with a few of my dizzogs and this game is Da' Bomb Yo! I am hooked even though I am not a big fan of sitting indoors and playing vids. This game has it all from crazy wipeouts to killer board twister with 580 kick spins.Best of all its got a rocking setlist of the latest new tunes. I love it man!
In all my years when I was a little duker, I never had a game half as fun as this one. My favorite is the competition mode you can bust out in. There are a number of different skating parks where you can compete one on one with whom ever may challenge you. The object is to rack up as many jumps as you can. But wait, your buddy or competitor can steal your jumps by landing a more difficult jump. I am telling you, it gets mean when you and your buddy are in a dog fight trying to win jumps by pulling some of the sickest moves. Its sick man, you go off these jumps, pull a bomb-diddle move that even T-Hawk might have trouble with. I telling you if you don't think you like video games anymore give this one a test drive. You might change your mind. And all of you who love video games, this one is a must. You thought Zelda was cool back in the day, give this one a chance. Time Flies When Your Having Fun so get a buddy, Tony Hawk Pro Skater and go nuts!!!
