Pros: 12 characters, fun to play multiplayer, secret level.
Cons: No bad guy-characters, boring single player.
The Bottom Line: I do reccomend Smash Bros. because it's a very good game and it's fun to play with others.

Super Smash Bros. is a fun game to play with friends. You may not get bored in a few months. But when it comes to single player, it's fun untill you unlock all the characters and the secret level. The secret level may take some time because you have to beat the game 8 time in a row with the first 8 characters.
This game has very good characters, they are: Mario, DK, Kirby, Link, Pikachu, Yoshi, Samus & Fox. Then you can unlock: Luigi, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff & Ness. There should be bad guys like Bowser or cooler characters like James Bond, Superman or Spiderman.
To unlock things you have to beat the game, it's always the same, against all characters then a big "glove" called Master Hand and that's it.
One of the very good things about this game is that it is very easy to play; up's to jump, A's to attack, B's to do one of the characters special moves.
The games has nice music and sounds, each characters make different noises, each level has different music and sometimes the crowd starts cheering for the character who is winning.
This is a good game to buy, except if you live alone and have nobody to play with.
