| tex-x's Full Review: State Farm Group - Auto |
Readers Digest version:
Wife gets rear ended, thrown into another car, scum-bag rear ender runs, damage to front and rear of wifes car, damage to rear of third car, driver of third car reports only feeling one impact (had the wife hit first there would have been two), police document as hit and run, wife gets shoulder x-ray, nothing major but doc recommends physical therapy (wife works for hospital and ALL medical including x-ray and PT would be free), State Farm commences with runaround and finger pointing, blames wife for accident regardless of police report, tries to get wife to jump through several hoops and refuses to settle (approx $3,000 is what we as for at this point;just to fix the car nothing else), State Farm stalls and presents more hoops. Fast forward two weeks State Farm calls and offers original settlement, ask State Farm rep if sudden offer and co-operation is result of call from attorney? State Farm reluctantly admits this, State Farm loses in court to tune of $45K, We dump Sate Farm and go to GEICO (hopefully not a wash-rinse-repeat move).
