Cons: WILL RAISE YOUR INTEREST RATES WITH NO WARNING !!!

The Bottom Line: Check your "annual rate" EVERY month !

Here's four words to avoid: FIRST USA BANK N.A.

I have had two credit cards serviced by First USA and the same experience. Thy often lure people with low interest rates like 9.9 %, which you think will be the permanent interest rate...wrong. After a year or so, they will suddenly raise your interest rate. My second card, "BankOne" started out at 9.9 %, but I just got a notice saying effective July 1, it goes to 12.99%. Well, effective July 1, I am transferring the entire balance to another card. The bottom line is if you have to have a credit card try to get one through a credit union which has more humane interest rates and policies.
