As a former collector I am experienced with these fraudulant companies such as CAPITOL ONE AND 1ST PREMIERE BANK CREDIT CARDS. These companies prey on the unsuspecting comsumer and hand out cards to anyone. No credit required. They collect on the yearly fees and late fees and not on what you purchased. I have seen these bills first hand. A person has a $90.00 yrly fee. They purchase one shirt for $35.00 and end up owing $750.00 after the initial bill for $$$. This is how they make the money that keeps these companies going. Unsuspecting consumers do not read the back of the initial credit apt. which says $90.00 yrly fee., 25-35% charges on unpaid balance.,$25.00 late fee and etc. Government needs to pass laws to stop these fraudlent companies to stop them in their tracks. Without all the fees they are out of business. I am looking for a class action suite against 1ST PREMIERE BANK. My daughter owes $300.00 and already paid in full another card with them. She sent in $20.00 and 2wks later send in another $20.00. 1ST Premiere Bank is now dealing with me and they are calling 8-10x a day. So, every time they call since my son in law is a night worker I explained no calls during the day. I am still getting all the calling so now I explained they will talk to me and only me until they stop calling. Also, I informed FIRST PREMIERE BANK I reported them to FTC Federal Trade Commission and will continue to keep on it until I get some satisifaction. Fight back and do not pay this bill. There will be laws against them hopefully soon. I have never taken out one of these cards because I am a former collector and I know about all these easy traps. And it is a trap. Good luck and get your letter into them certified mail and get a return card (proof u mailed it) to them requesting no calls, no letters and no contact. Keep a copy of your letter and report them to every legal agency you can find. BARBARA
