This product I won in a contest, but this was no ordinary gift! I have loved this easy to handle, easy to use VCR for almost two years now! The remote that comes with this unit is one of the best and simplest universal remotes to program. Within the instruction booklet is a set of codes for every brand of TV, Cable box and Out put devices. There is a large round gray button, which I am sure you can see, on the remote. This button is so wonderful, it is up for play, down for stop, right for fast-forward, left for rewind. the remote fits in the hand smoothly, it feels as though you are holding nothing, and I even have very small hands, my boyfriend on the other hand loves the remote because it fits his very large hands comfortably! This VCR model is VCR PLUS capable. Which means those numbers next to the program in the TV GUIDE is all you have to type into the record area. Also, the standard record is very easy to set up! with the touch of the record button, record begins then if you push it again it is set for 30 minutes, push it again and it sets for 1 hour, push it again it sets for an hour and 30 minutes, well you get the idea....
I recommend this VCR for the avid movie watchers along with the once in a while users. I use only the VCR remote for my TV because I enjoy it SO much!
