| Asian_N02's Full Review: Canon Elph2 APS Film Camera |
Well, I wrote an opinion about the first Canon Elph. It was the best camera I have ever owned. It was small, compact, easy to carry around. It took great pictures and it was very easy to use. It is just a beautiful camera inside and out. Unfortunately, somebody wanted my "beautiful camera," so I decided to purchase a new camera. It took me while to figure out what camera I wanted to get, but I always kept looking at the new Elph 2. After reading the manufacturer's specifications and looking at one in the store, I decided to purchase one. This camera is about 10 times better than the first Elph that I owned.
Why do I say that you ask??? Well, it has so many more features. This camera has been totally redesigned from the inside out. From the external point of view, the LCD screen is moved to the back of the camera. The switch makes it much easier to know how many exposures you have left and pretty much the status of your camera. It has a variety of flash options. This camera even has a SELF TIMER!!! I have never used a camera with a self timer, but this camera is very easy to use. The zoom feature has moved from the back of the camera to the top, where the finger takes the picture. That was also a smart move. It makes taking pictures and focusing much easier. This camera is smaller than the previous Elph...can you believe that??? More features squeezed into a smaller camera? That is the Canon quality you should expect. My pictures have turned out excellent! I have eliminated all "red eye" pictures with the various modes of flash. All in all, this camera is very awesome!
The thing I love about this camera is that they got rid of the "pop up flash." I was tired of having to manually pull the flash up before I took a picture. The flash on this camera is built right in. It is still very easy to use, and the compactability of this camera...well, it speaks for itself.
There is not one thing I hate about this camera. I love everything about it. The perfect camera for the savvy user such as myself.
I think any upper age teenager or young adult should purchase a camera such as this. However, he/she needs to take good care of it and be careful that it doesn't get stolen...as in my case!!!
