I bought the S360 last month (it was on sale at American TV for $200). It is my first DVD player. As I understand, it has the same laser pick-up as the S560-which results in a much sharper image than most DVD players in this price range.
I love most everything about this player, save for the fact that the S360 is unable to play CD-R's; if you purchase this, be prepared to keep your CD-Changer hooked up to the receiver. If you TV has component video inputs, you will be able to attach this player directly to your TV.
I'm not too familiar with other DVD players, but the 360 tends to have a hiccup about once a movie (it seems to pause or 'skip'for a fraction of a second). It is not a problem, just a minor annoyance.
All in all, for the price, I feel this is a pretty solid component to add to your home theater.
