The Sony MX-R900 is the newest in portable audio technology. This piece of equipment is fantastic for so many reasons. It offers so many great assets not available in CD walkmans and portable MP3 players.
First of all, the Sony MD Walkman offers perfect sound quality. I am not exaggerating at all when I say that you could hear a pin drop with this technology. Minidiscs offer sound that CD's cannot even compare to.
Secondly, minidiscs are rewritable infinitely. That means after you tire of your favorite mix, you can start all over again. This option is not available for most CD players. Furthermore you can make a mix while on the road. All you need is one inexpensive cable and you're able to create mixes no matter where you are.
Minidisc players are more practical than MP3 players because firstly they can store a lot more songs than most MP3 players. One minidisc can record up to 74 minutes of music. Even more important, is that you can record anywhere you want as long as you have a CD player(even a Walkman) and the cable. With MP3 players if you wished to download more songs you would require a computer, which we all know is a lot less convenient.
Minidisc players are the newest and most innovative type of portable audio player and I would highly recommend this model, the Sony MZ-R900 to someone willing to pay a little extra for the best quality player. I gurantee it will not be obsolete for a long, long time.
