I have 21st Century Cable (owned by RCN)... But with a TWIST.
They have a special deal in Chicago to run cable above ground on the "el tracks". This means their cost is much lower than most cable companies that have to bury their cables. They also ONLY deal with major buildings. IE single family homes need not apply. Either the ENTIRE BUILDING has it or it doesn't. We have it, and have been 100% happy. The question is... Will 21st become bad like RCN or will RCN become good like 21st Century.

I am happy. But it still makes me nervous that RCN could throw us into limbo with the flick of a switch. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

We have such a degenerate phone company, they don't offer jack. Hpefully, someday, someone will come to the rescue like it sounds like they have for you. In the meantime, we shall stick with GTE and AOL. Boy, what a combo. Great review, Debbie
