Pros: Easy To Update, Slim/Light, User Friendly, Consistent Sync
Cons: Stylus Pad Wears Out, Only Fits Small Stylus, Speed
The Bottom Line: If you want a cool looking toy get this, or one of its big brothers. They are cool looking and the prices are dropping.

This is probably on of the best-looking PDA’s around. Guaranteed, when you whip this bad boy out people will stare, in aw. The Palm V is a great tool. The sync works consistently with Outlook 2000, it is light/slim, the Palm OS is user friendly, and there is so much software available for the Palm OS. Such as OS updates, calculators, games, ect. And several of them are free! (http://www.palm.com)
A few drawbacks are: It is not a storage hound, however unless you are the most popular person on this earth, or obsessed with having all the games possible on your PDA, it is sufficient. The styles holder on the side only holds the smallest and lightest styluses, if you want one of the bigger ones you will have to carry it around yourself (good luck not losing it). The stylus pad (where you write) over time starts to wear out, I estimate two years before you really start noticing it. I believe this is consistent with most PDA’s however. And finally it does not have the fastest strong-arm processor available. You will only really notice this if you are an avid user of AvantGo, and searches.
