I bought this version in July after agonizing over its limited memory and whether or not to stay with Palm's proprietary system. I stayed as a result of which I can tell you the memory is limited!!! Even Palm now recognizes that and has brought out a newer model with larger memory. The newer model is worth the price, especially if you intend to use a modem and connect frequently to home or the net. Using downloads from AvantGo on the V results in less availability than AvantGo indicates you can manage. Plus the battery discharges faster than others. Use that I call less than intensive - referring to your calendar or phone list several times in a day - causes a marked battery drain. You really must recharge daily. Also, it isn't easy to read in bright daylight and not so easy to read in the dark either. Otherwise, its sleek and attractive.
