For those of you who are searching around for laptops, this is a great machine to purchase. I bought it in Nov. and have been very satisfied. Let me share with you the great features that I have enjoyed since my purchase.
It has TWO USB ports in the back, which for those of you who have a digital camera, or newer printer or scanner, they all use USB ports, so the more you have the better!:)
Also, it has a DVD player, which is my first experience with DVD's and it's nice to be able to join the modern world of DVD's. The great thing about this machine is that it has a TV composite out that enables you to connect your laptop to your TV so you can watch the movie on a bigger screen!:) You are also able to use your other programs and see them on the t.v. as long as you are connected to the t.v. with a simple cable! The cable does not come with the machine, but just ask an electronic store for a RCA male to male cable, basically it has to fit in the hole in the back of your computer and t.v.:)
The 14.1 active 1024x768 screen is also very clear! I have a desktop computer at home and it is not as clear as this laptop! It's very nice.:)
It has a sensory type mousepad, so you don't have that little rubber thing, so it is nice on your hands. It has a floppy disk for those who like to keep their documents on disks.
