OK, I thought that would get your attention. Federal Express 2nd day air to Hawaii does not live up to its name. I ordered online a lot during the Christmas season. Several of the shops that I ordered from sent my packages this so called second day air.
For example, my first order arriving this way took NINE days to get to my door from the time of shipment. It shocks me that I paid to get this kind of service. The post office provides better timing to Hawaii than that.
Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired as well. I called about above mentioned order to check on the status of my order on day SIX. The customer service representative said to me.. "Ma'am, I'm sorry BUT your order will be on your door tomorrow." OK, I can deal with this. I sit home on day seven. Its nearing 8 PM. No Fed EX. I dial the number again and I speak to another CSR. "Ma'am they forgot to pick up your package for delivery. It will be out tomorrow!" How on earth with a scanning system and computers do they just FORGET a package?
The last straw for me would be the package that arrived on my door just last week. The delivery man rang my doorbell (not checking to see if anyone was home of course) and just left the package there. I am so glad that my neighbors are honest!!!
The Pony Express was faster in my opinion!! As for me. I'll be sticking with the less expensive and FASTER USPS!!!
