Pros: nice scent and packaging, wonderful natural ingredients
Cons: Price, effectiveness- it didn't do anything for me!
The Bottom Line: Don't get me wrong... I love Zia products. But I require that products have an effect on my skin. And this one didn't. Sorry Zia!

| kleighb's Full Review: Zia Natural Skincare Ultimate Exfoliant |
I purchased a bottle of Zia Natural Skincare Ultimate Exfoliant last summer along with a complete Zia skincare regimen.
Zia Ultimate Exfoliant was one of the products I tried, and only recently used up. It has a slight citrus scent, and is not very thick. I would have liked a thicker, more gel-like masque. It was expensive at $32, but came in a nice frosted green glass bottle. The product is a member of Zia's premier skincare line, dubbed "the Ultimates".
Zia recommends this product for all skin types and their information states: "Exfoliates and renews skin in just two minutes! This concentrated blend of papaya enzymes and alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) helps rejuvenate the complexion on and below the surface of the skin. Accelerates effectiveness of other AHA and enzyme treatments, leaves skin feeling soft and silky smooth."
The product contains green papaya concentrate, citrus concentrate, raw sugar, vitamin C, vitamin E and Aloe Vera as it's main ingredients.
I liked the fact that you only needed to leave the product on for 2-3 minutes and then rinse it off. To use, you simply take a dime-sized amount and massage it into your face, avoiding the eye area. Several times, I forgot that I even had it on my face, because it dries and is not very noticeable. To remove, rinse with warm water.
I did enjoy the scent of it, but in the end, I never noticed that much of a difference in my skin with this product. It certainly didn't renew or revive my tired skin, as described in Zia's materials. To use it up, I began mixing it with a dry herbal clay masque that I created in order to use the bottle up and get it off my precious shelf space.
I really like some other Zia products, but this is not one I would buy again or recommend. It seemed useless to me. I couldn't feel it working, or see any immediate or long term benefits with use.
Other Zia Ultimates products include Ultimate Eye Cream and Hydrating mask, which I have also used and reviewed. Zia products can be purchased at www.zianatural.com, drugstore.com or uncommonscents.com
I trust Zia and love their products, but this is one that didn't "do it for me". Maybe it will for you?
